Student's Corner
From August 22-27, 2005 regular classes ceased as DEAF Inc. School in Laguna had week long celebration of its foundation. During the week the students particitpated in various competitive events. It was a time that showcased talents and values honed in school. In the end, everyone was a winner as they didecated the entire week to God. Here are some Thirs year college students shcring their personal feelings about the event:

" We had a very successful Sportsfast All the games were exciting and fun. Our Sportfast helped me develop my talents it helped me open up and express myself more in sign it helped me be strong and trained me to think positive always."

Rodel Ben A. De Leon

"I enjoyed dancing in the field demonstration for the Warriors Team. We worked very hard before the performance. We wake up very early in the morning and practiced our routine.

I was also part of the Baskedtball and Baseball Teams of the Warriors. I learned through playing sports to be more understanding of others and be cooperative with one another."

Romel Miemban

" Our Team won in the basketball competiion, each time we would play, we would say a prayer to God first. My own prayer was always to protect everyone and to guide us to play fairly and with harmony. After that, I played my best in every game. It was an exciting time for everyone."

Joseph R. Javate

"Our Sportfest was a memorable event. All the teams were equally strong and playing against each other was quite a challenge.

I was a number of the Survivor Team. We played with and trust in God, giving our best in all the games we played. In the end, we won first prize in the cheering competition which made our team very happy

As the hearing-impaired representative of our team, I won were equally strong and playing against each other was quite a challenge.
