How Liliane started it all
Short description:
In 1976, after 38 years, I had the opportunity to visit the place where I
was born, the Indonesian island of Sumatra. I went there with my
husband Ignaas. It was wonderful to be back there. Although much
had changed, a lot had also remained the same. The heat, the fragrance,
the whole atmospherey gave me the feeling of being home at last. That feeling lingered on with me for three beautiful weeks. Thinking it over
now, it seems only natural that right there, a whole new period in my
