General Information on 7th Abilympics
Shizuoka Prefecture is located in the center of Japan and faces the Pacific Ocean. It is blessed with a variety of natural surroundings, including the ocean coast, mountains and lakes. Shizuoka is also well known as the home of Mt. Fuji, the symbol of Japan's scenic beauty.
The weather in November is mostly good with temperatures between 10-25 degrees centigrade
Shizuoka is the birthplace of many of the world's top manufacturers in such fields as motorcycles and musical instruments. Recently, manufacturers in advanced technologies, mainly the electronics industry, have set up their bases in Shizuoka.
